Who we are
We don't copy parts. We understand them.
Reverse engineering, 3D scanning and manufacturing: we turn physical parts into optimised digital models.

Practical engineering, not pretty theory
Every part has a job to do. That's why, before digitising or manufacturing, we analyse its geometry, its assembly, its tolerances, the material and the end use it will have. We work with high-resolution 3D scanning, professional CAD software, 3D printing and machining, all with a single goal: a part that works in the real world.
When there are no drawings or clear references, that method is also what cuts development time: we start from the real geometry of the part instead of rebuilding it from measurements and guesswork.
«A part that looks good in CAD counts for nothing if it then won't fit, won't hold up or can't be manufactured.»
What sets us apart
Technical precision
3D scanning, CAD and processes geared towards dimensional accuracy.
A functional approach
Every part designed for its real-world use: assembly, strength, vibration, temperature and manufacturing.
Bespoke solutions
We're not tied to closed catalogues. Every project is shaped around the problem.
In-house process
Scanning, design and manufacturing under one roof. Control from start to finish.
Part recovery
We replicate broken, discontinued or hard-to-find components.
Optimisation
We don't just replicate: we improve, reinforce, lighten or adapt.
Traditional method vs reverse engineering with 3D scanning
| Traditional method | Drive Forge | |
|---|---|---|
| Starting from a part with no drawings | Manual remodelling, prone to error | Direct scanning of the physical part |
| Starting precision | Manual measurement | Scanning to 0.02 mm |
| First response | No defined timeframe | 24–48 h with feasibility and timeframe |
| Design iterations | Remaking moulds or drawings | Editable CAD |
Where we work
We work in automotive, motorcycling, campervan conversions and industry; above all in competition and rally, off-road 4x4, and restoration and replicas.
Frequently asked questions
Do you only design, or do you manufacture too?
We do 3D scanning, reverse engineering, CAD design and manufacturing; the entire process is in-house. You can come in at any point: with a part in your hand, with a scan, or with a CAD model already done.
Do you copy the part as-is or improve it?
We don't just copy the part: we analyse its function, how it mounts and its critical points. When it adds value, we deliver an optimised or adapted version: stronger, lighter, with better flow or a better fit.
What files do you deliver, and in which formats?
3D models, editable parametric CAD, drawings with dimensions and tolerances, and files ready for 3D printing or machining. In whichever formats you need (STEP, STL and others), with material and process recommendations.
What if the part doesn't fit?
We validate the design with you before manufacturing and, when it adds value, we make a prototype first. The goal is for the part to work in the real assembly, not to look good on screen.
Is my project information confidential?
Yes. We treat every project confidentially and sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) if you need one. The CAD design we produce is for your project.
Tell us about your part
If your part has to work for real, let's talk. Send us photos and rough dimensions and we'll give you feasibility and a timeframe within 24–48 business hours.
