Reverse engineering

Reverse engineering: we recover parts that no longer exist

We turn a physical part, a scan or a set of references into an editable, functional CAD model. We recover geometries when there are no drawings, no supplier and no spare.

What we solve with reverse engineering

We don't just copy the part: we analyse its function, its assembly and its critical points to rebuild a model that genuinely works for manufacturing, modifying or improving.

  • Discontinued or impossible-to-find spares.
  • Broken parts where only a single reference example remains.
  • Components you need to modify so they fit better.
  • Taking a physical part to CAD to manufacture or validate.

Results, not loose files

  • A parametric, editable CAD model of the part.
  • Technical drawings with dimensions and tolerances if you need them.
  • An optimised or adapted version when it adds value.
  • Files prepared for 3D printing or machining.

Frequently asked questions

Can you recover a discontinued part or one you only have a single example of?

Yes. We reconstruct discontinued or impossible-to-find spares and broken parts where only a single reference example remains, working from the physical part, a scan or references.

How accurately do you work from the physical part?

We start from a 3D scan of the real part at 0.02 mm, rather than manual measurement, to reconstruct a model that genuinely works for manufacturing, modifying or validating.

Can the CAD model you deliver be edited?

Yes. We deliver a parametric, editable CAD model of the part, and technical drawings with dimensions and tolerances if you need them.
